Empowering personal growth and healing for your expression of more life and resiliency
Dr. Ian Shaw
Owner, Chiropractor
EFC Family
Being an outdoor loving, movement enthusiast, a series of knee surgeries gave Dr. Ian the empathy and perspective on the important self care, and maintaining the ability to do the things we love, to stay happy and healthy. He appreciates how quickly life, injuries, work and/or stress can take over our health, comfort, confidence and happiness.
Pulling on his Chiropractic knowledge and 14+ years of experience as a personal trainer and a wellness coach, Dr. Ian emphasizes self care strategies to empower his clients to support their bodies at home. He strives to help people connect to their own bodies, and loves to hear their stories of how they become more capable and get more joy from their lives.
On the Chiropractic table he aims to ease the tension stored in your body. Whether it is through manual adjustments, drop table, craniosacral work, breath work, soft tissue work or stretching, he will help you unwind the stress that manifests from your life experiences.
Outside the Office you’ll find Ian adventuring with his dogs on the trail, in their canoe or at the crag rock climbing. On the slower side you can easily entice him into playing hours of board games, you can find him lost in a fantasy novel or in his garden, or cooking up something healthy in the kitchen vibing out to music of all genres.
Book your initial consultation today to experience Ian's inspirational energy and knowledge for proactive health.

What is Medical Qi-Gong?
Medical Qigong ("chee-gong") is an ancient pillar of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It focuses on addressing the root cause of disease. It does so by balancing, strengthening and regulating Qi ("chee"), the bio-electromagnetic energy that pervades all living things. Similar to other invisible forces, such as wind or gravity or magnetism, Qi is powerful and can be felt, but is not commonly seen. It is translated as “life force” and/or “vital energy” and is what makes us feel healthy and alive.
